We didn’t close. We relocated. After 19 years as one of St. Kitts’ most beloved beach bars, The Godfather has a new home — Cockleshell Bay. Same music. Same spirit. Same rum punch. New beach.
Founded in 2007 on South Friars Bay, The Godfather Beach Bar built its reputation as a home for live Afro-Caribbean music, ice-cold drinks under the palms, and a laid-back, authentically local atmosphere that drew residents, expats, and visitors alike.
When government-led tourism development required bar operators to vacate South Friars Bay in 2026, we had a choice: close, or build again. We chose to build.
Today, The Godfather rises at Cockleshell Bay — one of St. Kitts’ most visited beaches. A larger stretch of sand. More visitor traffic. Dramatic sunsets across The Narrows toward Nevis. And the same commitment to live music, cold drinks, and genuine island hospitality that built our name over nearly two decades.

No. We are a beach bar — walk-ins are welcome. For large groups or special events, contact us in advance.
Yes — The Godfather Grill serves Bangers & Mash, Jumbo Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Fries. Simple, fast, and filling. Served in a paper board with a wood fork. No full restaurant menu.

Yes — live music runs from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM, followed by The Godfather After Dark from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM. We also host weekly Blues Nights and Friday Karaoke Nights.
